Salt is a Church of ordinary people who meet together every Sunday arvo to hear from the Bible about Jesus and the great things he has done. Started in 2012, Salt is a Bible-based, independent Church that seeks to see lots more disciples of Jesus in Wollongong and in the Illawarra. Salt is part of the Fellowship of Independant Evangelical Churches and is a member of The Gospel Coalition’s Illawarra chapter (formerly Gospel for the Gong).
It doesn’t matter if you grew up going to church, haven’t been to a church in your life or haven’t stepped in to a church for years- we’d love for you to come along and bring any questions you may have with you.
We believe that Jesus’ call to follow him is still the most vital and life-changing calling around, and we make it our mission to know Jesus and share His life-changing message with anyone who will hear it.
